A classic South Australian Shiraz, full of jammy ripe hedgerow fruits supported by powerful spice and tertiary notes. Its nose offers plenty of stewed raspberries and blackberries, with spice of vanilla and pepper. On the palate it is dry with noticeable acidity which lasts throughout the tasting. The tannins are present and can tell have been closer integrated during its ageing. It has a very long finish, all of which is pleasant, and maintains the use of oak. 14.5% abv. 89/100
